National parks and hiking trails
The nearby Salamajärvi National Park offers great routes for both day trips and longer hikes. The 400-year-old pine trees in Pyhä-Häkki National Park captivate the walker. They are within an hour’s drive! The distance to the Peuranpolku (Forest Reindeer Trail) and the white sands of Lake Valkeisjärvi is five kilometres. You can rent snowshoes from us for winter trips! SUP boards in the summer and fatbikes & canoes can be rented through our partner companies. Do explore the routes and the national parks!
